When I tell people I meet that I live in Minnesota a not infrequent reaction is “how can you stand living there? Isn’t it always cold and snowy?”

I love snow, always have. It always makes me happy. I celebrate today as the day of first real snow; may it continue and may we please have a white Christmas this year:)
